OWNER BIO: DIANE S. McKinney

EXPERIENCE

Diane began her career in 1986 as a medical outpatient biller for a non-profit agency. In 1990 she joined Rivendell, a national psychiatric hospital chain, as a billing clerk. She was promoted to Business Office Manager less than a year later. Diane oversaw the billing operations of the inpatient units and day treatment programs, as well as numerous outpatient clinics.

Over the years, her billing office was repeatedly praised by the corporate office for exceeding company-wide goals, including having the lowest company A/R days, lowest bad debt percentage, and maintaining consistent cash collections.

Her development of standardized procedures & reporting led to national consulting jobs within the company, including performing operational assessments and implementation of standardized procedures.

When the hospital closed in 1999, Diane took on a new challenge as the firm administrator for Abraham & Gaffney, P.C., a mid-sized CPA firm. After numerous consulting engagements with hospitals, physician offices, and home care agencies, Diane created the Home Care Consulting department, a national consulting service to aid home care agencies with the challenge of accurate OASIS coding and PPS billing.

Allied Strategies, LLC was founded in 2004 by owners Diane McKinney and Shawn Stipcak. Together, Shawn and Diane bring 28 years of medical field experience to assist Homecare Agencies across the country in improving operations and increasing profitability by providing integrated billing and clinical software.
