OWNER BIO: Shawn C. Stipcak

EDUCATION

In June of 1999, Shawn earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Davenport University concentrating on management styles and techniques.

EXPERIENCE

While pursuing her education, Shawn worked full-time for a national hospital chain. Upon graduation, Shawn pursued her career in the healthcare field in the role of Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Michigan State University. During her tenure at MSU, Shawn undertook the role of administrative functions of the department, including the oversight of the department budget. Her performance and willingness to work with others was continuously praised by faculty and staff.

In September of 2002, Shawn took on the challenging role of Homecare Analyst with the CPA Firm, Abraham & Gaffney, PC, located in St. Johns, MI. In 2002, the PPS Revenue Recovery process, the ability to recover monies that would have otherwise been ‘left behind' , was virtually unknown in the home care industry. Together with the Project Manager, Shawn developed the service that led over 400 homecare agencies in 42 states in collecting over $8 million dollars in additional revenue between the years 2002 and 2004. This successful service offering was subsequently duplicated by numerous industry leaders and has become a staple of the homecare consulting market.

Allied Strategies, LLC was founded in 2004 by owners Diane McKinney and Shawn Stipcak. Together, Shawn and Diane bring 28 years of medical field experience to assist Homecare Agencies across the country in improving operations and increasing profitability by providing integrated billing and clinical software.
